Ministries
Prayers & Squares - Our Prayers & Squares Ministry held its first meeting on Monday, January 25th in the St. Stephen's Vicarage. This ministry will be making lap sized prayer quilts for requests from members of the congregation. The quilts, filled with prayers are a comfort to those going through one of life’s valleys. Everyone is welcome to help-no particular talent needed. We need people to sew, cut, layer the quilts, putting in the ties, ironing, keeping records... We plan on meeting regularly on Friday mornings. We always need fabric, thread, batting & other consumables. You can bring items to church on Sunday and/or purchase scrip from JoAnn Fabrics or WalMart to help us purchase supplies. Contact Marlene Oaks, Jean Kornegay or Carol Moore for more information.
Daughters of the King - Daughters of the King (DOK) is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate."
