Memorial Garden

St. Stephen's has been dreaming of a Memorial Garden for many years. The dream included trees and bushes planted in memory of a loved one. It also included benches and walkways so that loved ones could be remembered on a stroll. A plan for that dream finally was approved by the St. Stephen's congregation on April 18.

The local gardener that cares for the St. Stephen's grounds on a weekly basis began the garden the next day and had his entire crew working around the clock to make that dream happen! The garden was completed on April 30 so that it would be done by Mother's Day. More plants and trees will be planted in the near future in memory of loved ones.

We are grateful that the Holy Spirit has guided us through this project as we approach Pentecost.
